New preparation materials (Study Guide & Practice Tests) are released in advance of the launch of the new exam. New preparation materials will typically launch 3-4 months before the new exam will launch and be available.
New test plans and crosswalks are made available as early as possible, typically 9 months to 1 year prior to the new exam launches.
