# Prior to exam launch: An instructor invites a candidate to the old prep (diminished their inventory). The candidate has not accepted that invitation, and needs the new prep. How would this be managed?

If an invitation is not accepted, then inventory is not diminished. Depending on if other candidates have been accepted on the roster will determine if this course can be modified by the institution or if it will need to be modified by the NHA team. In this case, a candidate may have both versions of prep in their account.
