How to Get the Most Out of Claire AI®: Prompt Examples and Study Tips

This how‑to article explains how learners can effectively use Claire AI® by writing strong prompts, leveraging example questions for studying and exam preparation, and providing feedback to improve their learning experience.

If you are entering your own prompt into Claire AI, here are some tips for creating a good prompt:   

  1. Be clear and specific. 
  2. Explain what you want the output to be. 
  3. Specify the format, length, and style. 
  4. Ask to respond as a specific role or expert. 
  5. Call out what must and must not be included. 

Are you looking for some prompt ideas? Try these: 

  1. Create a story to help me understand the concepts on this page  
  2. I’m learning about [TOPIC]. Can you explain it in simple terms? 
  3. I’m confused about [SPECIFIC PART OF THE TOPIC]. Can you explain it a different way? Can you break it down step by step? 
  4. Quiz me on [TOPIC]. Ask me [NUMBER] questions that check both my understanding and my ability to apply what I’ve learned. 
  5. Help me understand how [TOPIC] applies to my own experience as a [ROLE OR LEARNER TYPE]. 
  6. I’m struggling with [SPECIFIC CHALLENGE] related to [TOPIC]. Can you explain it using simple language, one clear example, and a practical tip I can try right away? 
  7. Proived a 3–5-point summary on the most important takeaways from this lesson on [TOPIC]?  
  8. I want to make sure I understand this. Can you help me explain [TOPIC] as if I were teaching it to a peer who missed the lesson? 
  9. What should I be able to do after completing a lesson on [TOPIC]? List the key skills in clear, learner-friendly language. 

Utilizing Claire AI for Study Sessions  

Here are some examples of how to use Claire AI in the NHA Online Study Guide to help you study and prepare for your certification exam. Remember Claire AI is not a short cut; it’s a study tool to help you throughout your learning journey:   

  • Help me understand the material instead of reading it over and over. You can ask Claire AI to explain the topics in simpler language, rephrase confusing sections and give real world examples.

    • Prompt: I just read a section about [TOPIC]. Can you explain it in simpler terms and give me a real-world example?

  • Help me with feeling stuck or frustrated.  Claire AI can help explain concepts step-by-step, use simpler words or different examples and help me thru parts I struggle with most 

    • Prompt: I’m struggling with [SPECIFIC PART OF THE TOPIC]. Can you explain it step by step using plain language?

  • Review in a way that improves long-term retention.   Claire AI can create short summaries and explain concepts in simple terms.

    • Prompt: Summarize the key takeaways from this topic in 5 bullet points.
